Religiosity is a person's attachment to the religion he adheres to. Religiosity is an important part of children's identity formation because it includes a person's belief in God, moral values, ethics, and social actions. Religiosity is said to be important because it is a representation of one's faith and belief in God Almighty. The family environment, as the first social institution, has a major influence on a person's growth, including the formation of their religious values. The family is the first educational environment for children. It is hoped that religious education since childhood, especially in the family, can form individuals who have faith and devotion. A good family environment will affect good student behavior, and a poor family environment will also affect student behavior. However, many children do not get it for various reasons such as parents' work or lack of understanding. The importance of religious cultivation in students is to guide students to pay attention to the surrounding associations and choose for themselves which associations are good and which are bad.
The purpose of this study is to prove whether there is an influence of the family environment on the religiosity of class XI students at SMAN 1 Slahung Ponorogo.
The method used in this research is quantitative research with the type of ex post facto research. With a population of 163 students. While the number of samples was 62 students with Probability sampling technique with Accidental sampling type. The data collection instrument used is a questionnaire. While the data analysis technique in this study is descriptive analysis and simple linear regression.
Based on the results of the analysis, it can be concluded that there is a significant influence of the family environment on the religiosity of class XI students at SMAN 1 Slahung Ponorogo, which is 57.4% while the remaining 42.6% is influenced by other factors that are not included in this study.
