Kemampuan mengajar guru al-Qur'an yang baik harus memiliki standar dan kompetensi agar bisa menyampaikan ilmu yang berkualitas kepada para santrinya. Karenanya seorang guru al-Qur’an harus senantiasa mengasah kompetensi dan kemampuan yang dimiliki agar bisa meningkatkan kualitas bacaan al-Qur'an menjadi lebih baik, terlebih al-Qur’an sebagai pedoman hidup manusia. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kemampuan mengajar al-Qur'an yang baik dapat diperoleh melalui pembinaan guru. Berbagai penelitian terkait pembinaan dan kemampuan guru telah banyak dilakukan namun belum ada yang mengambil fokus pembinaan guru ngaji.
Peneliti ini memiliki tujuan yakni I) Menganalisis mekanisme pembinaan kemampuan mengajar guru metode tilawati di Madarasah Diniyah Hasan Tobri. 2) Menganalisis implikasi pembinaan pada kemampuan mengajar guru metode tilawati di Madrasah Dinyah Hasan Tobri. 3) Menganalisis kendala dan solusi pada proses pembinaan guru metode tilawati di Madrasah Dinyah Hasan Tobri.
Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang berfokus pada kemampuan mengajar guru tilawati, dengan menerapkan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Pengambilan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Partisipan penelitian berasal dari pembina dan guru Madrasah Diniyah Hasan Tobri Ponorogo yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengecekan keabsahan data mengunakan teknik triangulasi yakni triangulasi sumber. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis menggunakan model analisis Miles dan Huberman meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan.
Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan maka dapat ditarik suatu kesimpulan bahwasanya I) Mekanisme pembinaan guru meliputi: pertama tahap identifikasi kebutuhan guru, kedua tahap perencanaan pembinaan guru, ketiga tahap pelaksanaan pembinaan, keempat tahap evaluasi. 2) Implikasi pembinaan pada kemampuan mengajar guru meliputi: pertama guru memiliki kemampuan mengajar, kedua guru semakin memahami kondisi peserta didik. 3) Kendala pada proses pembinaan guru meliputi: pertama kurangnya informasi dan kordinasi, kedua kurangnya dukungan dari lembaga pendidikan al-Qur'an, ketiga sumber daya yang terbatas, keempat potensi guru sebagai pembina kurang dimanfaatkan. Adapun solusi yang akan dilakukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan diatas akan disampaikan pada pembahasan lebih lanjut

A good Al-Qur'an teacher's teaching ability must have standards and competence in order to convey quality knowledge to his students. Therefore, an Al-Qur'an teacher must always hone his competencies and abilities in order to improve the quality of reading the Al-Qur'an for the better, especially as the Al-Qur'an is a guide to human life. In an effort to improve the ability to teach the Koran well, it can be obtained through teacher development. Various studies related to coaching and teacher abilities have been carried out, but no one has focused on coaching Koran teachers.
This researcher has the aim of I) Analyzing the mechanism for developing the teaching abilities of tilawati method teachers at Madarasah Diniyah Hasan Tobri. 2) Analyze the implications of coaching on the teaching abilities of tilawati method teachers at Madrasah Dinyah Hasan Tobri. 3) Analyze the obstacles and solutions in the process of developing tilawati method teachers at Madrasah Dinyah Hasan Tobri.
This research uses a qualitative approach that focuses on the teaching abilities of tilawati teachers, by applying a case study type of research. Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation. The research participants came from the supervisors and teachers of Madrasah Diniyah Hasan Tobri Ponorogo who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Checking the validity of the data uses triangulation techniques, namely source triangulation. The research data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis model including data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions.
Based on the results of the research conducted, a conclusion can be drawn that I) The teacher development mechanism includes: first the teacher needs identification stage, second the teacher development planning stage, third the coaching implementation stage, fourth the evaluation stage. 2) The implications of coaching on teachers' teaching abilities include: firstly teachers have teaching abilities, secondly teachers increasingly understand the conditions of students. 3) Obstacles in the teacher development process include: first, lack of information and coordination, second, lack of support from Al-Qur'an educational institutions, third, limited resources, fourth, the potential of teachers as coaches is underutilized. The solutions that will be implemented to overcome the above problems will be presented in further discussion.
