Abstract

In order to improve the quality of learning in madrasas and reduce the
tendency of students to play with gadgets/cellphones at home, MIN 5 Ponorogo
between madrasas and student guardians need to be improved so that students can
face and develop well in the modern era like today. Students also need sufficient
religious provisions to balance and control themselves in this digital era.
Therefore, learning tahfidz should not only be during extracurricular times but
also included in learning hours. A good tahfidz learning process in madrasas
requires appropriate methods so that students and tahfidz teachers are more
effective and efficient in achieving goals.
The aim of this research is to describe and analyze (1) Formulation of
strategies for improving the quality of the tahfidz program at MIN 5 Ponorogo.
(2) Implementation of strategies to improve the quality of tahfidz learning at MIN
5 Ponorogo. (3) Evaluation of strategies for improving the quality of Al-Qur'an
tahfidz learning at MIN 5 Ponorogo. This research uses qualitative research. The
data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation and
documentation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses the theory of Miles, Huberman and
Saldana, namely data condensation, data presentation and drawing conclusions.
The results of this research show that (1). The formulation of strategies for
improving the quality of Al-Qur'an tahfidz learning at MIN 5 Ponorogo includes
formulating the development of a vision, mission and determining goals for
tahfidz learning targets, analysis of the internal and external environment in
formulating the Semester Program (PROMES) for improving the quality of
learning. The results of the strategy formulation include: Upgrading Tahfidz
Learning Materials, Determining teaching media using murojaah for Tahfidz
teachers, Socialization and Evaluation Seminars for Tahfiz teachers in using
teaching methods with Regional Ummi. (2). Implementation of strategies to
improve the quality of Al-Qur'an tahfidz learning at MIN 5 Ponorogo, namely
upgrading teachers in tahfidz learning materials using several models of Al�Qur'an memorization methods such as deposits to tahfiz teachers using the Bi�nadzar method, Talaqqi method and Tahfidz method ( Bil Ghoib). (3). Evaluation
of strategies for improving the quality of Al-Qur'an tahfidz learning at MIN 5
Ponorogo is carried out using internal, external evaluations and corrective actions.
Internal evaluation includes improving and strengthening the quality of the tahfidz
team's competence directly from the trainer, while external evaluation includes
improving tahfidz targets to graduating tahfidz students, finally corrective action
includes improving teaching and equalizing perceptions in teaching.
