Abstract

Pengaruh Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah dan Self-Awareness Terhadap Disiplin Kerja Guru di MA se-Kecamatan Balong Ponorogo
Tahun Ajaran 2019-2020

ABSTRAK

Guru merupakan faktor esensial untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dalam sebuah organisasi pendidikan. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bagi guru yaitu dengan meningkatkan disiplin kerja mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin kerja guru di MA se-Kecamatan Balong Ponorogo tahun ajaran 2019-2020, pengaruh self-awareness terhadap disiplin kerja guru di MA se-Kecamatan Balong Ponorogo tahun ajaran 2019-2020 dan pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan self-awareness terhadap disiplin kerja guru di MA se-Kecamatan Balong Ponorogo tahun ajaran 2019-2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional kausal. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru yang ada di MA se-Kecamatan Balong Ponorogo tahun ajaran 2019-2020 yang berjumlah 51 guru. Peneliti menggunakan sampel jenuh dan jumlah sampelnya adalah 51 guru. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan kuosioner dan untuk analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan self-awareness terhadap disiplin kerja guru di MA se-Kecamatan Balong Ponorogo tahun ajaran 2019-2020 menggunakan SPSS version 16.0 for windows. Pada analisis datanya terkait pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap disiplin kerja guru menunjukkan nilai signifikasi sebesar 0,000 sehingga < 0,005 yang artinya gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah (X1) berpengaruh terhadap disiplin kerja guru (Y), untuk analisis data terkait pengaruh self-awareness terhadap disiplin kerja guru menunjukkan nilai signifikasi 5% diperoleh nilai probability hitungan (Sig.) 0,000 sehingga < 0,05 yang artinya self-awareness (X2) berpengaruh terhadap disiplin kerja guru (Y), sedangkan untuk analisis data terkait pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan self-awareness terhadap disiplin kerja menunjukkan nilai probability hitungan (Sig.) adalah 0,000 yang artinya < 0,05. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan self-awareness terhadap disiplin kerja guru di MA se-Kecamatan Balong Ponorogo tahun ajaran 2019-2020.

The Effect of Headmaster Leadership Style and Self-Awareness toward Teacher’s Work Decipline in Islamic Senior High School at Balong Subdiistrict Ponorogo in Academic Year 2019-2020

ABSTRACT
Teachers are essential factor to improve the education quality on an educational organization. One way to help teachers to do well in improving education is improve their work decipline. This research is aimed to analyze the effect of headmaster leadership style toward teacher’s work decipline in Islamic Senior High School at Balong subdistrict Ponorogo in academic year 2019-2020, the effect of self-awareness toward teacher’s work decipline in Islamic Senior High School at Balong subdistrict Ponorogo in academic year 2019-2020 and the effect headmaster leadership style and self-awareness toward teacher’s work decipline in Islamic Senior High School at Balong subdistrict Ponorogo in academic year 2019-2020. The approach of this research was quantitative causal correlation. The population of this research was the whole teachers of Islamic Senior High School at Balong subdistrict Ponorogo which consist 51 teachers. The researcher used population sampling and the number of sample was 51 teachers. The data is collected by questionnaire and the data were analyzed using multiple linier regression to determine the effect of headmaster leadership style and self-awareness toward teacher’s work decipline in Islamic Senior High School at Balong subdistrict Ponorogo in academic year 2019-2020 using SPSS (Statistical Package the Social Science) version 16.0 for windows. The data analysis between the effect of headmaster leadership style and teacher’s work decipline showed that signification value is 0,000 and < 0,005 it’s mean that headmaster leadership style (X1) affect toward teacher’s work decipline (Y), and the data analysis between the effect of self-awareness and teacher’s work decipline showed that signification value is 0,000 and < 0,005 it’s mean that self-awareness (X2) affect toward teacher’s work decipline (Y), then the data analysis about the effect of headmaster leadership style (X1) and self-awareness (X2) toward teacher’s work decipline (Y) showed that signification value is 0,000 and < 0,005 it’s mean that headmaster leadership style (X1) and self-awareness (X2) affect toward teacher’s work decipline (Y variable). The researcher concluded that there is a positive and significant effect between headmaster leadership style and self-awareness toward teacher’s work decipline in Islamic Senior High School at Balong subdistrict Ponorogo in academic year 2019-2020.
