High interest in learning will have a positive impact on student learning. However, this is not in line with what happened in SKI (History of Islamic Culture) learning at MA (Madrasah Aliyah) Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo.
Where in SKI learning it can be seen that the interest in learning is low. One of the factors that can affect the high and low interest in learning in students is the use of learning media, such as gadgets. Gadgets are widely used among students, especially in the use of smartphones. Students will be able to
increase their interest in learning because of the use of gadgets. Students can
use and utilize it for positive things, especially use in learning.
This study aims to: determine the effect of the use of gadget media on students' learning interest in SKI subjects at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo in the 2023-2024 academic year. This study uses a quantitative approach with data in the form of numbers. The study population consisted of 50 students at MA Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo in the 2023-2024 academic year. The research sample was taken from the entire population of 50 respondents. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires and
documentation. From this study, it was found that the results: the use of gadget media has a significant effect on students' interest in learning SKI subjects at MA
Muhammadiyah 1 Ponorogo, with a large influence of 29.8% and the remaining 70.2% is influenced by other factors.
