Abstract
Religiosity is a behavior of appreciating religious values which is characterized by a person's obedience in carrying out ritual worship, a person's belief in his religion, as well as a person's experience and knowledge about the religion he adheres to. In reality, village communities in general still maintain ancient culture and traditions which contain Javanese elements that are still inherent. Such as still carrying out cultural rituals such as burning incense, using perfume, offering traditions when carrying out activities such as wetonan. Even before there were religious activities, the community in Selorejo Village was said to be lacking. This is due to people abandoning worship because they are overwhelmed by worldly affairs. However, with the implementation of religious activities, people slowly began to carry out worship services that had been abandoned, for example prayer and fasting. The role of religious activities is very important to increase people's religiosity through activities such as yasinan, prayer together, tasyakuran, mawlid diba' and manaqib as well as other religious activities. These activities can increase people's religiosity.
Based on the background above, the objectives of this research in Selorejo Village are to determine: 1) Religious activities in Selorejo Village, Pacitan, 2) Implementation of religious activities to increase community religiosity in Selorejo Village Pacitan, and 3) The impact of religious activities on community religiosity in Selorejo Village, Pacitan.
This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. Data collection in this research used interview, observation and documentation techniques. Data collection in this research was analyzed using the Miles, Huberman and Saldana analysis model, namely data condensation, data presentation and conclusion.
The results of the research show that: 1) Religious activities in Selorejo Village, Pacitan include yasinan activities, group prayers, commemorating religious holidays, thanksgiving, maulid diba', and manaqib. 2) Implementation of religious activities to increase the religiosity of the community in Selorejo Pacitan Village, namely in the field of faith there is yasinan. In the Islamic field, namely performing the five daily prayers, fasting, praying together, commemorating Islamic holidays, and thanksgiving.. In the field of ihsan, namely mawlid diba' and manaqib. 3) The impact of religious activities on the religiosity of the community in Selorejo Pacitan Village a) The impact in the field of aqidah. b) The impact in the field of syari’ah. c) Impact in the field of morals.
