Abstract

MANAJEMEN PROGRAM ENTREPRENEURSHIP
DALAM PENGEMBANGAN JIWA KEMANDIRIAN SANTRI
(Studi Kasus di Pondok Pesantren Darul Huda Mayak Tonatan Ponorogo)

ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen pendidikan entrepreneurship dalam pengembangan jiwa kemandirian santri yang dilaksanakan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Huda Mayak dari segi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasinya. Kajian penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh ketatnya persaingan dunia kerja yang menyebabkan kekhawatiran para pengasuh pondok pesantren terhadap pendidikan santri yang hanya terfokus pada pendidikan agama saja tanpa diimbangi dengan integrasi pengetahuan umum, teknologi, dan pelatihan skill yang mana banyak pengangguran yang tidak terserap oleh lapangan kerja karena kurangnya skill dan kompetensi. Perhatian yang serius terkait pendidikan entrepreneurship di Pondok Pesantren Darul Huda salah satunya yaitu pendidikan entrepreneurship melalui pengelolaan unit usaha yang melibatkan para santri untuk berpikir kreatif dan inovatif mengembangkan kemandiriannya didukung dengan pelatihan dan pembinaan bersama pihak yang kompeten di bidangnya.
Peneliti menggunakan jenis pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi kasus tunggal yaitu tempat atau lokasi penelitian hanya satu. Metode yang digunakan peneliti dalam mengumpulkan data penelitian yaitu metode wawancara, observasi, serta dokumentasi. Analisis datanya menguunakan model Matthew B. Milles, A. Michael Huberman, dan Saldana berupa pengumpulan data, kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teknik pengecekan data dilakukan dengan perpanjangan pengamatan, peningkatan ketekunan, triangulasi, analisis kasus negative, dan membercheck.
Hasil penelitian mengenai manajemen pendidikan entrepreneurship dalam pengembangan jiwa kemandirian santri ditemukan kesesuaian fungsi dalam teori manajemen yakni meliputi: (1) Perencanaan pendidikan entrepreneurship di Pondok Pesantren Darul Huda yaitu melalui penetapan unit usaha, penentuan kebijakan dan sistem, serta pengembangan jiwa kemandirian santri melalui pengelolaan unit usaha. (2) Pelaksanaan: pengembangan jiwa kemandirian santri dari pendidikan entrepreneurship terdiri dari hard skill dan soft skill. Hard skill berupa bimbingan, pelatihan, dan pembinaan dari para asatidz dan pihak yang kompeten di bidangnya secara praktek langsung di lapangan dalam pengelolaan unit usaha. Sedangkan soft skill berupa keorganisasian santri, kemandirian, serta sosial kemasyarakatannya. (3) Evaluasi yang diadakan berupa pelaporan pertanggungjawaban kepada pihak keuangan pusat dan kepala bagian kepesantrenan untuk mengetahui hasil kegiatan, menilai dan mengoreksi segala program. Pendidikan entrepreneurship yang sudah diajarkan di Pondok Pesantren Darul Huda harapannya bisa menjadikan bekal para santri dalam mengembangkan potensi skill entrepreneur yang sudah diajarkan ketika sudah lulus dari pesantren, sehingga menjadikan santri mandiri yang mempunyai jiwa entrepreneur.

ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENT INDEPENDENCE SOUL
(Case Study at Pondok Pesantren Darul Huda Mayak Tonatan Ponorogo)

ABSTRACT

This research aims to describe and analyze management of entrepreneurship education in developing independence spirit of the students held at the Darul Huda Mayak Islamic Boarding School starting from planning, implementation, and evaluation. This research is motivated by the intense competition of world working competition that causes the worries of Islamic boarding school leaders about the students education that only focuses on religious education without being balanced with the integration of general knowledge, technology, and skills training where many jobless people are not accepted by the employment due to lack of skills and competence. One of the serious concerns related to entrepreneurship education at Darul Huda Islamic Boarding School was entrepreneurship education through the management of business units that involve students to think creatively and innovatively to develop their independence supported by training and coaching with competent people in their fields.
The researcher applied qualitative approach with a single case study which has one research location only. The method used by the resesrcher in collecting data was interview, observation and documentation. The data analysis used Matthew B. Miles, A. Michael Huberman, and Saldana models wich are data collection, data condensation, data display and conclusion drawing. Data checking techniques were carried out by extending observations, increasing persistence, triangulation, negative case analysis, and member checking.
The result of research on the management of entrepreneurship education in the development of the spirit of independence students found suitability function in management theory which includes: (1) Planning for entrepreneurship education at the Darul Huda Islamic Boarding School are through establishing business units and determining systems and policies, as well as developing the spirit of independence of student throught unit management business. (2) Implementation: developing the independent spirit of students from entrepreneurship education consisting of hard skill and soft skill. Hard skills in the form guidance, training, and coaching from asatidz and parties who are competent in their fields in practice directly in the field in managing business units. While the soft skills in the form of student organization, independence, and social. (3) The evaluation was carried outby reporting the accountability to the central finance and the head of the Islamic boarding school division. Hopefully, the entrepreneurship education that has been taught at the Darul Huda Islamic Boarding School can be a provision to the students in developing their entrepreneurial skills when they graduate from the Islamic boarding school, so as to make the students independent who have an entrepreneurial spirit.
