Abstract

Abstract
Divorce cases in Ponorogo Regency increased in 2021, where in 2020, there were 1,769 cases, while in 2021, it increased to 1,910 cases. Most of these divorces are filed by married couples still of productive age and whose marriage has only lasted 1-5 years. This phenomenon creates problems for children and ex-wives in the form of injustice in their social life. For ex-wives, their problems are a double burden and negative stigma from society. This research was conducted based on the reality of widows in Ponorogo Regency as breadwinners in the family. This study aims to analyze the phenomenon of widow life as the primary breadwinner in the family in Ponorogo Regency and analyze the fulfillment of the rights of wife and children after Divorce in Ponorogo Regency.
The type of research used for this research is field research with qualitative methods. This research was conducted in Ponorogo Regency. The data collection technique involves in-depth interviews, documentation, and observation. After the data is obtained, analysis is carried out, namely data reduction, data exposure, and verification. Based on the research that has been done, the following results are obtained. First, the motives of the widows in Ponorogo Regency for deciding to divorce are economic factors, place of residence, Domestic Violence, husbands cheating on them, husbands who lie, drunkenness, gambling, leaving without saying goodbye, not respecting parents, and cultural differences. The Divorce had an impact on the psychology, society, and economy of the widows. The purpose of the Divorce proposed by the widows is the desire of the widows to end the burden of problems and suffering in household life. Second, post-divorce, economic rights in the form of living, social rights, and the psychological rights of wives and children in the Ponorogo Regency are not all fulfilled.

ABSTRAK

Kasus perceraian di Kabupaten Ponorogo mengalami peningkatan pada tahun 2021, di mana pada tahun 2020 ada 1.769 kasus, sedangkan tahun 2021 meningkat menjadi 1.910 kasus. Mayoritas perceraian ini diajukan oleh pasangan suami istri yang usianya masih produktif dan pernikahannya baru berlangsung selama1-5 tahun. Fenomena ini, menimbulkan permasalahan bagi anak dan mantan istri berupa ketidakadilan dalam kehidupan sosialnya. Bagi mantan istri, permasalahan yang dihadapi berupa beban ganda dan stigma negatif dari masyarakat. Berdasarkan realitas kehidupan janda di Kabupaten Ponorogo sebagai pencari nafkah dalam keluarga, maka dilakukanlah penelitian ini. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis fenomena kehidupan janda sebagai pencari nafkah utama dalam keluarga di Kabupaten Ponorogo dan menganalisis pemenuhan hak istri dan anak pasca perceraian di Kabupaten Ponorogo.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan untuk penelitian ini yaitu penelitian lapangan dengan metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Ponorogo. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Setelah data diperoleh dilakukan analisis, yaitu reduksi data, paparan data, dan verifikasi. Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, maka diperoleh hasil sebagai berikut. Pertama, motif para janda di Kabupaten Ponorogo memutuskan untuk bercerai yaitu factor ekonomi, tempat tinggal, KDRT, suami selingkuh, suami suka berbohong, mabuk, judi, pergi tanpa pamit, tidak menghargai orang tua, serta perbedaan culture. Perceraian tersebut berdampak pada psikologi, sosial, dan ekonomi para janda. Tujuan dari perceraian yang diajukan para janda tersebut yaitu keinginan para janda untuk mengakhiri beban permasalahan dan penderitaan dalam kehidupan rumah tangga. Kedua, pasca perceraian, hak ekonomi berupa nafkah, hak sosial, dan hak psikologi istri dan anak di Kabupaten Ponorogo tidakter penuhi semua.
