Abstract
This thesis examines and analyzes the management of character education in shaping the social piety of students at Madrasah Diniyah Al Ikhsan Magetan. This research begins with a discussion of the condition of students who are still found to be bullying other students. So with that Madrasah Diniyah Al Ikhsan implements character education management as a form of anticipation and prevention of these immoral acts. In its implementation, Madrasah Diniyah Al Ikhsan first plans and determines the character values to be used. After that, the implementation of the concept was carried out in three stages: the preliminary, core, and closing stages. These three stages integrate with each other to form the religious character of the santri so that they can form social piety.
Therefore this study formulates research questions including: first, how is the concept of character education management in shaping the social piety of students at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Ikhsan Magetan?, second, how is the implementation of character education management in shaping the social piety of students at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Ikhsan Magetan? ?, third, what are the implications of character education management in shaping the social piety of students at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Ikhsan Magetan?
Anxiety will be answered using a qualitative approach. This research is a field research using descriptive analysis method and utilizing data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation.
Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The conclusions from this study are: first, the concept of character education management in shaping students' social piety at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Ikhsan Magetan is by instilling religious values in students based on worship and exemplary activities. Second, the implementation of character education management in shaping the social piety of students at Madrasah Diniyah Al-Ikhsan Magetan is with the stages of preliminary activities, core activities, and closing activities. Where these stages can shape the character of students to become religious, where students apart from carrying out worship on the one hand have an impact on how to behave piously towards fellow students. Third, the impact of character education management in shaping the social piety of students is that the inculcation of social values in students can establish harmonious social interactions. So bullying behavior can be controlled and overcome.
