Abstract
ABSTRACT
This research is motivated by the presence of principals, especially Madrasah Diniyah, who should have good managerial competence to empower all school resources including educators and educational staff to achieve predetermined school goals, but there are still several principals who are classified as weak in managerial competence. so that they are less able to carry out the wheels of the organization properly. In addition, Madrasah Diniyah are still considered as madrasas that have little role in the future of students.
This study has three research focuses. The first is regarding the planning of the head of the madrasa in developing educators and educational staff at Madin Al Amiriyah Kebonsari Madiun. The second is related to the activities of the madrasa principal in the development of educators and educational staff at Madin Al Amiriyah. And, the third is about the implications of the managerial competence of madrasa heads in the development of educators and educational staff at Madin Al Amiriyah.
This study uses a qualitative research method that aims to gain an understanding of empirical facts through an inductive thinking process. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The purpose of this study was to see and find out the phenomena regarding the managerial competence of madrasa heads in the development of educators and educational staff, the forms of development activities, and the implications of these activities at Madin Al Amiriyah Kebonsari Madiun.
The findings obtained from this study are that: first, related to managerial competence in the development of educators and education staff, the head of Madrasah Diniyah/Madin Al Amiriyah has planned the needs of educators and educational staff, procurement/recruitment, placement and assignment, performance appraisal, compensation , and termination of employment. Second, the activities of the madrasa head in developing educators and educational staff include class supervision, deliberation forums, coaching/guidance by caregivers, training/workshops, comparative studies, and further studies. And the three implications of the managerial competence of madrasa heads in the development of educators and education staff are increasing the competence of educators and education staff, increasing student achievement, and increasing the quality of madrasas.
