Abstract
THE ROLE OF THE SUPERVISION OF SCHOOL HEADS IN IMPROVING TEACHER PERFORMANCE IN SDN 1 NGLAYANG, JENANGAN DISTRICT, PONOROGO REGENCY
ABSTRACT
This research is motivated by the problems that occur at SDN 1 Nglayang, including teachers who do not understand teacher administration according to the K13 curriculum so that teachers are not perfect in making syllabus, Rpp, Prota, and Prosem. This study aims to determine the implementation of the supervision of the Principal at SDN 1 Nglayang, Jenang District, Ponorogo Regency, to criticize the role of the Principal as an academic supervisor at SDN 1 Nglayang, Jenang District, Ponorogo Regency, to explain the results of improving teacher performance through supervision activities at SDN 1 Nglayang, Jenang District, Ponorogo Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a type of case study. Collecting data through in-depth interviews and observations. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used interactive techniques by Miles and Huberman, which included data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the research show 1) the implementation of school principal supervision at SDN 1 Nglayang has been running, supervision is carried out at the beginning of the semester, the principal has five plans. The techniques used by the principal in the implementation of supervision are individual techniques and group techniques: 2) The role of the principal as a supervisor, the principal as a coordinator and consultant in supervision activities. 3) The results of improving teacher performance through supervision activities at SDN 1 Nglayang all teachers have improved results, teachers are active in making teacher administration, learning has gone according to the desired planning.
