Abstract
Strategic management in creating a religious culture is a series of school management including the formulation of a vision and mission, implementation and evaluation played by the principal to shape the habits of students and school members in carrying out the values of Islamic teachings.
This study aims to analyze 1). Principal planning strategy in creating a religious culture. 2). The strategy of implementing the principal of madrasah in creating a religious culture. 3). The principal's evaluation strategy in creating a religious culture in MTs Tahfizh Alam Qur’an Winong - Jetis - Ponorogo.
This research was designed in the form of qualitative research, taking the location at MTs Tahfizh Alam Qur'an Ponorogo. Methods of data collection are carried out by observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The key informant is the principal of the madrasa, bag. Curriculum, bag. Students, bag. Worship, bag. Language and students. This study used purposive sampling with snowball sampling technique. Checking the validity of the data begins with member check and continues with triangulation techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
The results showed that: 1). The planning strategies implemented by the head of madrasah in creating a religious culture include: internal-external environmental assessment, vision-mission formulation, preparation of madrasah annual work plans (RKTM), and preparation of medium-term work plans (RKJM). 2). The implementation strategy carried out by the head of the madrasah includes: Organizing, in the implementation of organizing carried out by the head of MTs Tahfizh Alam Qur'an by forming the structure of MTs Tahfizh Alam Qur’an and distributing job descriptions, supervision, providing technical guidance on the implementation of tasks, and rewards and punishments. 3). The evaluation strategies carried out by the head of madrasah include: Deliberations that are carried out routinely which include monthly, semester and preparation of EDM madrasah self-evaluations.
