Abstract
ABSTRACT
The business activities of a Muslim must be based on Islamic law which comes from the Al-Qur'an and hadith. Because in Islam there are limitations that must be considered regarding how to obtain and use results. A phenomenon in the field is found by many business people who only think about how to get profit and how to avoid losses. When success has been obtained, they forget that the assets they have are only entrusted by Allah SWT at any time can be taken back other than that these assets will be held accountable in the afterlife. To face and realize a healthy business, it is known as business ethics. In this context, Islamic business ethics emerges on the grounds that Islam includes a set of teachings and values that can lead people to the happiness of life, both in this world and in the hereafter. Apart from that, Islam is also a system for all aspects of life, from social, economic, cultural, political and other aspects. The Family Inn is one of the inns in Ngebel District, precisely in the Ngebel Lake tourism area. In terms of relief, Family inns are still conventional, but in their management, the owners have taken prosyariah attitudes and steps which are used as the foundation for running a business. This is a form of positive response to business opportunities based on sharia principles, so that it makes researchers interested in conducting research on Family Lodging.
This research aims 1. to know the implementation of the management of Ngebel Family Lodging 2. Know the attitude and steps of the owner in managing lodging based on sharia principles. 3. Knowing the implications of the attitudes and rarities of owners who embrace sharia on the development of the Family Lodging. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, this type of research is field research. Research location at Ngebel Ponorogo Family Inn. The data collection methods use interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used data reduction models, data presentation, and drawing conclusions.
From the results of this study it was found that: 1. Management of family lodging management has been running well and in accordance with the values contained in Islamic law. Starting from planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring. In implementing the management, the service is friendly and has a polite appearance. In terms of organizing, the manager has a simple organizational structure. In addition, the manager also conducts supervision, namely evaluating with employees. 2. The steps taken by the owner in managing lodging based on sharia principles are shown by not providing access to pornography and immoral acts, providing adequate equipment and facilities for worshiping, designing rooms with three, two, and one bad cover and without any ornaments that lead to them. on polytheism. All of this in the theory of Islamic business ethics and the Fatwa of the DSN-MUI are very relevant, even supporting the application of Islamic behavior and ethics in lodging management unless the financial institutions used are still conventional so that the steps taken are not fully sharia. 3. The implications of implementing sharia-based management attitudes and steps on the development of Family Lodging, among others, are that from year to year the number of consumers has increased quite significantly. This is evidenced by the presence of guests who become regular customers. In order to meet the demands of consumers' needs, the inn always innovates to add facilities that are needed by visitors. In terms of improving services, the inn enforces reservations via social media, namely via telephone or via WhatsApp. With persistence, the efforts made by the innkeeper also yielded results, namely the addition of quite extensive relationships.
